LEADERSHIP

Our Junior Volunteer program is designed for students in Grades K-5 and Grades 6 - 9. The two groups typically meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month, from 6:30 pm-7:30 pm, unless otherwise noted. Some meetings will combine both groups; at other times, the two groups will meet separately. The majority of our meetings are held at the Misty Eyes Animal Center in Avon. However, some meetings that are hands-on with animals are held at various locations. Meetings are ideal for young people who want to learn about caring for pets and for those who have an interest in animals.  Each month, a different topic will be offered. We do require registration for each program and some programs do have a maximum number of people.  If you have questions or would like more information, please contact our JV Program Leads, Kristin Short or Hannah Everling. They may be reached at JV@MistyEyes.org.

Each month, a sign-up will be set up in advance so that interested participants may register for that month’s program(s).
